One of my resolutions this year was to read more books than I did last year. Last year, I read 26 books, which is a book every couple weeks. This year, I read 64 books, which is more than a book a week. Not bad for me. There are lots of people who read hundreds of books a year. I do not know how they do this.

I think those that read hundreds are in the YA-only crowd. Or are speed readers. Or possibly prison inmates with an abundance of free time (a possible upside to incarceration? Haha).
I think you’re right, Christine! I read only one YA novel this year and it took me one day to read it. Most of the books I read are adult fiction in the 400-page range. That takes me a few days, no way around it.
